it's like i stepped right out of a movie. me, the lead actress.
i don't know what to believe anymore. but it doesn't really matter.
the truth won't change a thing because you're still a liar.
a part of me wants to believe you, so so badly.
but as the events unfold, you look guiltier by the minute.
they don't condemn a man if there is reasonable doubt.
but an acquittal does not amount to innocence.
i won't ever know the truth.
but it's something that i'll live with.
somebody is lying. doesn't matter who. but what goes around comes around.
perhaps i never really knew you. or perhaps, i wronged you.
either way, it was good while it lasted.

happy 21st birthday to me!
kelvin and i caught phantom, the matinee. oh it was so good! i remember how we wanted to catch it on broadway but we didn't have time in nyc so i'm really happy they came to the esplanade. i love the setup and the props! they were so gorgeous!
it was also my 'surprise' party. the only thing surprising about it was the frisbee people coming down, hehe. it was a damn hot and stuffy night but i had a lot of fun, despite being spanked by almost every single person present such that my butt is now RED. thank you all who came down and for being a part of my 21st!

even though you're so far away you still touch me with the things that you do.

it was so silly sitting there half-smiling-half-tearing.
but i'm very lucky to have a friend like you and i know that we'll grow old together, just like how we always said we would, and that we'll always be here for each other.

a few other reasons that made me smile today:
i'm done with my exams! phew. the last (graded) exams i'll have to sit for in a year. i doubt i'll do as well as i hoped, but whatever. i'm just glad it's over. and i received a package from the uk! there was no name or return address, but i think i know who it's from. hehe. thank you!

my dear bitch! i love meeting up with her and each time i'm reminded of how much i miss the two of my favourite girls. thank you both for the gift! :)
kelvin and i back from my family dinner on the 7th of april. he really surprised me with his antics this time around. i received another pretty blue box. :) plus all the effort put into throwing the huge surprises which i'm not supposed to know about.i finished two out of three papers! pretty soon i'll be done. company law was so-so but audit was terrible. james wong totally murdered us with the paper. ugh. i can't wait for corp reporting to be over, 'coz that's the last (graded) exam of the year! yay. :)

but it was great receiving birthday wishes as early as 5pm yesterday from some of my overseas friends. and i met my dear bitch on thursday to catch up and i love the present that came in the pretty blue box (personally it's more turquoise but whatever)! i love the besties, thanks girls!
i'll update with pictures (yay, i finally got my canon, a gift from my siblings + the dear boy) after my exams. for now though, happy 21st to me.

the best part was it was sent by my dear boyfriend who emphasised in the email that it's supposed to be a surprise. hahaha. being 21 is a huge affair for a lot of people, but it's not the case for me. the boyfriend though, said he couldn't let my 21st go by without a big bang.
kel you've never been great with surprises, but you get a 10/10 for effort!
