i had a bottle of yakult this morning during my corp meeting and i love yakult because it's so fruity. so after my meeting, i decided to buy the entire pack of yakult/vitagen because... well... they taste so good! so during my FIIM meeting... i finished 4 bottles out of the entire pack.
and my stomach churned so bad for the rest of the day. i had so much gas it was not funny.
moral of the story: don't ever be greedy. one bottle of yakult/vitagen is enough for one day.
some updates:
flowers from the boyfriend on valentine's day. well actually this was taken a few days after and they don't look so fresh anymore.
the waikiki poster in school. from far looks not toooooo bad la.
this one is so much better though. haha.
i'd put up pictures of chinese new year but i think my sister would kill me. that's it for now!

hurray to the bull run. i think that's why one of my stingy relatives gave me double what she gave me last year. oh not to mention i made a net profit of quite a lot gambling this year. hehe.
yayyyy just talked to the besties! i wish it could be easier for me to contact them sometimes. it's always good catching up/bitching/doing whatever with them. just one of those things that make my very boring life a little bearable. sigh, even they said the photo was ugly! thank goodness the poster in school didn't look as bad.
bahhh i so have to get down to doing my work. i haven't read the prospectus for this fund we're working on for FIIM tomorrow. here's my schedule for the coming 2 weeks.

well not really. the previous post has all the details of the school-related stuff i've gotta do.
regardless, i'm happy i survived the first 7 weeks of school.
so today, kelvin and i went out for the first time in a long while.
we went on a movie marathon and caught Protege and Ghostrider.
it's been quite a week for the both of us, so we didn't wanna watch anything like Babel or Little Children where it'll leave us with stuff to ponder. we wanted to watch completely brainless-no-need-to-think sorta shows but town was flooded with kids it was impossible to move, much less get movie tickets because there were thousands of kids standing in line for tickets. and they buy like, 16 tickets at a time. -_- remind me again why i avoid town during pri/sec/jc school holidays.
in the end, only Protege was left so we caught that in the evening and Ghostrider we caught when all them kids went home late at night. Protege is pretty good, Ghostrider was very disjointed and predictable. Marvel should just stick to the good stuff like X-men and Spiderman.
Anyway, 2 movies + time with the boyfriend makes hilda a happy girl (except i'm still waiting for my call from advisory, quick dammit).

my eyeslids feel like they're made of iron and i think i need to keep them up with toothpicks if i want to finish my assignment by tonight.
i had 8 hours of sleep the last two days. two very mentally draining days. two whole days of work. and i mean two FULL days of work. :( plus my weekend was completely burnt and %&^%$&^%^$#^&*^%$^&*&^%$#.
i'm just really tired.
celebrated alene's 21st birthday with the house reps after company law.
the presentation today has got to be my worst ever here at smu.
it was just terrible.
alene's birthday was a good chance to see a lot of the house reps. i haven't seen so many of them in a while. didn't stay very long though.
and if this week is bad, the week after CNY is going to be worst.
my marketing prof just announced a quiz, so that makes 3 quizzes after CNY and a lot a lot of projects.
why can't my profs be kinder.

that time when we stuff our faces with bakwa and pineapple tarts. (oh the calories)
that time of the year when we collect lots of ang baos. (yay!)
that time of the year when the adult women compare red packet collections. (err..)
and that time of the year when we sit around, make small talk, hoping the day would soon come to an end. (ugh)
sigh. i know chinese new year is a tradition, and hell, traditions are important for cultural reasons. but it's such a hassle to command that emotional labour and to act all cheery and chummy with my relatives, whom i see once a year. most of them are nice people, it's too bad that i didn't get to know them well as a child and now i'm just used to the whole thing. some of my relatives though, set me reeling for the 1-2 hrs that i see them.
but well, blood is thicker than water. i'll just have to slap on that smile for two days. i can't wait to see the 4/1 ppl on saturday though. steamboat and mahjong to end off the cny period perhaps? there's never a need for emotional labour with them.
school is such a bitch. fancy giving us our mid-term break during the cny week.
two days will be eaten up by cny. one other day for my FT dine out. so that leaves four days of rest. then again, with two midterms in week 9, those days will be spent with the boyfriend, books, and project meetings.
