so after almost 4 months since i left the US...
...the package i sent to lyn for her birthday finally arrived in melbourne!

goodness. that's how long it took.
better late than never i guess? heh.

2 out of 4 papers down.
and now i'm down with fever, running nose etc as well.
talk about perfect timing.
my papers have been crappy so far. things at home have been crappy too.
i can't wait for my exams to end coz i so need to get out of this place for a while!

ns men jamboree today.
a day when they came to matriculate so they can start the special term.
quite interesting seeing so many of the nj guys even though only qx is confirmed coming to smu. :) i realised i haven't seen them in so long!

gst is going up to 7%!
damn... that means tax laws are going to change and i'm going to have to relearn the tax system in 1-2 yrs time. grr.

school's officially out, but my finals are not.
this semester's gone by so fast it's crazy.
here's an indication of just how busy i am.

david's been calling me on skype but every single time he gets me, i'm in school.
at most, i chat with him online for 10 mins. lol. the poor boy's giving up.

sigh. one week of study break before the finals kick in.
no more deloitte award this year. boo.

on a side note. casino royale is worth a watch! i'm no james bond fan, but it was pretty interesting. plus, alessandra ambrosio is in it! she's the girl at the ocean club who turns her head to check bond out for 2 seconds. hottt stuffffffff!

exactly one year and one day ago we were at tiffy's shelford apt having our little halloween party less the costumes! asoc day 2006 passed recently too. this time last year we had a whole lot of fun. this year is less fun, for some reason though. perhaps it's got something to do with the fact that week 11 out of 15 weeks in the second year of SMU is hellish. or maybe it's because i've got a quiz tomorrow, a tax workshop on saturday, a tax quiz next friday and a finance quiz next next friday.

how exciting. grr. i feel like biting someone.

i'd better start bucking up if i wanna scrap a B grade for income tax. i think i've got a little less drive this year. take now for example, i'm blogging instead of reading up for my quiz tomorrow. better yet, i'm way behind in tax and i've never read up for class when the prof calls on me every single seminar. bidding starts next week. if this semester is bad, i think the next one will be worse. i don't really have a choice if i wanna go to europe this time next year. corp reporting, audit, company law, financial instruments, marketing? i hope i like audit more than i do tax.

funny how some people have taken to saying 'less' instead of 'minus'.
