had lunch with xin in town and checked out ministry of sound with kelvin and his friends at night. the place is huge and there's more clean air but i prefer zouk though, drinks are better there. ran into a number of people that night, including jolin and gymnast wensi. she's soooo prettyyyyyy.

lunch with lynette at the penang laksa place. yum! it's the first time in a long while that i've actually spent time with her alone. played with the hula-hoop i got her. i think we're both good, but we looked absolutely ridiculous shaking our bodies like that! i'm glad i have a friend like her whom i can share almost anything with, from the dead serious, to the downright silliest. :) i was really happy after reading the christmas card she gave me! shishir's back from canada; did a bit of catching up over dinner. he just might come down to new jersey from toronto next year. spent the rest of the night at kelvin's place playing mahjong with his mum and grandma. phoebe's such a silly dog, she bites everything! i wish she could start her training soon, she's getting really naughty!
today.
jiawen came early in the morning to bake. ahem ahem. remember my nice birthday present in 2006, :) wakeboarding in the afternoon at kallang this time of the year is not a good idea. the tide was so low we were practically sitting on mud! i learnt a lot today i think. hehe. met jess and lyn for dinner. i haven't seen jess in over a month. she's still doing well and looking hot!

seems most of the 4/1 girls spent christmas (eve) with someone special. hehe. wonderful isn't it? was at kelvin's till past midnight yesterday. dinner was good and phoebe has finally managed to pee and poo on the papers instead of on the floor :)

caught Oi! Sleeping Beauty!! The Wake Up Musical at the new national library yesterday with lyn and grace. it was really good! the show was hilarious, the cast was talented and the props were excellent. :)
today.
another house rep outing, this time with the rest. good seeing them even though i didn't stay for long. got gavin's christmas card and xmas present from tiff! thanks! watched kelvin jam for a while and that boy followed me back and helped out a little with the baking. christmas gathering later with the 4/1 people!

i had a house gathering.
a lignum outing - full strength!
of course they were late, but i guess it's become routine for them to be that way, while i'm always early. glad to see uiaik hasn't changed all that much - yet. heh. will see them again this fri, with some of the other house reps.
today.
i never wanted to step into school during the holidays but i went to the 5th level of the business block today - a BGS TA meeting with Prof. yes, he managed to get me a slot on tuesday. :) did all my christmas shopping after that. oh gosh it was madness. kelvin and i walked until our legs ACHED. but i'm happy, i think i'll be getting pretty nice presents this year. muahahah. of course after today, i'm officially BROKE.

met the asoc bunch for supper at thompson. i like this bunch of people very much. haha. it's nice seeing them again even though they're the bunch i meet up with most often this holiday.

my dear boy qualified for cleo's 50 most eligible bachelors.

it's the monsoon season so we couldn't do water sports but we ended up playing pool, archery, table tennis etc. nirwana was pretty and it was all nice and sunny there so i came back with a pretty nice tan. it's been a while since i last took a stroll along the beach and laid on a hammock. :)
met the 4/1 clique for dinner immediately after i returned from bintan (yes, lugging around my 2D1N dirty clothes etc.) but it's the first time i've seen them since even i don't know when! uni is so busy it's difficult to meet up with old friends. so many things have changed; our lives, our goals, our mindset. not all's for the better but at least we're all still here for each other.

met haogen for lunch and then for coffee. sorry mortal, that it took me this long to finally meet up with you! bumped into mrs tan on the streets with her kids! i miss her gp lessons, i don't think i learnt very much from her but she was definitely entertaining. she's so full of energy for somebody her age. went wakeboarding with kelvin after that and it took me a while to get back on the water but i was pretty happy by the end of the session. hopefully i'll be able to do more the next time around. kel's pretty good considering it's his first lesson. maybe next time xin, kel and i could go together!

i've got bruises from frisbee again but oh well, it's fun nonetheless. remind me to have breakfast before training though. met peig and alene for dinner! i miss being with the 2 of them so much! we had a lot of fun, the 3 of us, back in njc but we've all been busy since school started. shit, we ate so much. from scotts, to crystal jade to cartel - all in one night. it was nice just walking around and catching up. :)
bumped into lawrence, my colleague from manfield when i was still working there. and xin's back! she's being such a prick though, too lazy to come down and meet me! -_-

he's so gentlemanly. such a nice boy! too bad i couldn't stay over at the chalet.
my sister flew off to canada early this morning.
the BSM New York people were there too! turns out they're taking the same flight as my sister. it was nice seeing timbo and huiwen etc. hope they bring me something from NYC! :)
i'm a little annoyed. my CT grade was 0.something away from an A- and the prof refused to up it. bleah. a leeeettle disappointed.
met lyn and weegin for lunch today. haven't seen weegin for so so long! glad to see she's doing fine. left a little earlier than expected because mummy called and i think she's missing my sister to bits already. that silly woman better call back soon. meanwhile, it's up to me to make my parents feel better!

my asoc og won a 3D2N stay at the Orchard Parksuites, the service apartment right behind Wisma Atria. that place is sweet! it's pretty much like a hotel, but the room we were in, apparently rental for it is like $2k per week or something. So home was town for a couple of days and we were walking around orchard shopping for groceries dressed in just shirt and shorts. Went for drinks with Kelvin on the first night at Balcony, some new place that opened beside Heeren, and we caught a movie last night. It's so convenient to just walk home! Played tennis and hit the gym during the day, which was good because i haven't exercised in more than a month.

the exams are finally over!
after a few weeks of being couped up, doing nothing but studying, we're finally free!
i don't really wanna think about my grades. right now i'm just glad to be having fun. we celebrated tiff's birthday a day late but i hope she enjoyed herself anyway. happy 19th birthday tiff, you're old! :D
i met lynette today! i missed her so much! the last time she asked what i wanted from australia, i told her i wanted a live, boxing kanga. i can't believe she really got one for me - a mechanical one of course, but it's so cute! i'm so glad she's back!
