oh oh!! serena left the room for a while and Norah Jones's What Am I To You was playin' on the radio and gen got all excited, she held my hand and exclaimed, "What am i to you!".......just as serena's mum walked in?! it was so funny! i can't imagine what her mum must've been thinking! (take a look at our pics on serena's blog and you'll figure, heh!)

i hate my blog layout now but i haven't got time to do up a new one.
friday. chris, donna, kevin, nick, lawrence, joce and i had dinner at cartel after work (thank you christinaaaa). everyone listens to chris in the office but i realised, she always gets bullied outside! so cute! we all had a good time laughin at her. she's so slow when it comes to pickin up things, kinda like how alene and agnes were when we first started out as the Lignum 6th. for the 2nd time in my life, i went to kbox. didn't sing much (the only chinese songs i know are by jay chou) but i was a pretty good cheerleader for the rest of them. thomas joined us and boyyyyy... he does the jay chou songs with soooo much emotion i almost felt like tearing!
sat. slept in later than i usually would but it's still not enough. had CIP with the youths at the centre and i think publicity for the carnival's gonna be a major prob. they wanna make 5 banners?! i recall the times spent outside the House Room painting.. *faints*
met some of the house reps for dinner and yep, it's always good catchin up with
them. got some good ideas for publicity from them too (read above). heehee, always knew i can count on them.
saw jonathan at coffee club and took a glance of his goodlookin indian friend. damn. too bad he's attached! :) finally, met the 4/1 peeps. we were supposed to hit a club but we ended up just having drinks at rouge coz we were all pretty drained. since we were all out together, we didn't wanna waste the nite away by going home. so what did we do? they played pool abit (esther, wenjie and i were just talkin) and we caught Guess Who? at 1.30am. i didn't think it was great and most of us prob fell asleep for a while some time during the show. by 3.20am, we were all seriously bummed out. why do we torture ourselves like that?! they stayed on (they're mad!) but kok and i took a cab home. daniel called arnd 4.30am and i think i mumbled something to him, i can't really recall, i was half-way on my way to dreamland (lyn, i wasn't pissed at him though, haha).
sunday's usually my rest day but i've got tuition! *wails* i'm so close to cancelling all of my appointments next week just so i can have some time for myself!

friday. met genevieve and serena for dimsum dinner and boy.. dimsum's good stuff! we walked all the way to boat quay and had drinks at harry's. cabbed back to serena's place and she was tryin to make her own cocktails while gen and i crashed on her bed and explored her room. haven't been there since err..dunno when? the whole night we were talkin and boy.. there was quite a bit to absorb that night.. towards the end we were all just lyin on her bed, munchin on chips, listenin to music and talkin. i love that feelin. thanks girls.
saturday. i had to freakin drag myself out of bed at 8.30am coz i slept at 3 the night before? i had CIP and we brought the youths + kids to east coast park. it was actually really fun, the scavenger hunt, poisonball (i'm so darn good at it they all decided to target me after a while hahaha!... okay..okay..i'll stop..) etc etc. but talkin to some of the youths.. i was really really disturbed. some of them are in so much trouble but they don't seem to realise it, it's scary! had dinner with daniel and it wasn't as weird as i thought it would be. heh.
today: met some of the house reps for lunch today. lyd and zhao did a fantastic job on chiitarng's bday cake. 3 cheers to them! lyd has plans to organise a pretty big scale outing for us..you go girl! alene's starting school tomorrow..hey good luck!

1) the term "ugly singaporeans" is not without it's origins. only a pathetic, immature, petty and a fuckin scrooge of a working man almost as old as my dad would step on my shoe after i accidentally bumped into him. like..wtf?! so i knocked into him unintentionally and i apologised.. most normal people would just let it go after an apology but that fuckin loser had to step on my shoe?! and he had the guts to stare after me?! i swear he must be 30 though he looks 50 and i bet he'll be unmarried the rest of his miserable life! if i had higher heels on and 15 more seconds to think about what i'd do i'd have literally kicked his sorry ass!
2) we were at lao pat sa having dinner and this kid about 9 yrs old came around and asked if we wanted to buy tissue paper? he had this huge bag with him to sell.. i was thinkin.. "oh poor kid..child labour.." until he came back a second time and we still refused to buy and he said in chinese "..you all only know how to talk talk talk.." ..... does it pay to have kind thoughts?!? nooo!
3) jess is a little ill and she's going to the doc's tomorrow.. jess i'll call you and i really hope it's good news i hear.. *hug* but i'm sure you'll be fine dear!
4) some people are really so filthy and disgustingly rich..but it's so so sad how they're not happy with their lives and when they screw it by doing really really foolish things.. i guess i'd rather be poor but happy.
5) on the way home lyn and i almost got knocked down by a car (okay partly coz we were talkin and didn't really see the car coming..)
6) some guy fainted at AMK MRT station..poor guy.

but the day got better. :D kris asked me out for coffee! so cool! i mean.. i missed him in bintan but now we're emailing and yea, i met him today and i got my picture with him! heeheehee! i think i'm really sheltered over here.. i mean.. kris has been all over the world and his life is just so fascinating.
met alene and eileen before heading down to marina bay to meet the rest of the house reps. uiaik came back! i missed my captain man. dinner was fine but i was kinda shagged.. even uiaik could see that i was tired. but yea.. thanks you lot.. i got alotta prezzies today.. thank you all sooo much!

okay wait. yea about today. my smu accounting interview's on monday and i've got the whole day off. whee! it's shopping with lyn before that of course! pity jess won't be back till tues.. *sob* i met the anderson girls for dinner at swensons and thanks guys for the present! it's always a joy meeting them.. i wish i didn't tell huiling what i did though.. cheer up babe.
closure? i think i've definitely found it. i dunno if you're reading this but yea, i'm real glad we sorted things out and that it's good between us coz i really don't wanna lose a friend. i'm 19 + a day old and both xinhui and lyn are proud of me for being able to see things the way i do now. i think ron would be proud to know i've grown up too!

i was on the phone last night with lyn when the clock struck 12 and i wasn't feelin all excited 'coz being 19 means i'll have more responsibilities to live up to and i was kinda dreading it? but when i stepped into the office, i found the ripcurl bag + a card on top and the whole day's been great ever since. :) i was so touched by the office people.. + lawrence and jocelyn got me a present.. ahhh.. *tears of joy*. thank you ivan for the lovely lovely, very lovely bouquet of roses. it was awfully sweet of you! not to mention 2 cards? haha.
met lyn, weegin and grace for dinner and...they baked a cake for me! their first attempt! thanks jess, ron, russ, serhwee for the presents too though i didn't see u guys! lyn and i had drinks at rouge (it was on her, she's such a dear) and ahh!!! i feel like the luckiest girl alive. :D i'll probably continue to feel this way all the way until sunday but yea.. i just have to say i'm really happy today and i really appreciate all that everyone's done for me. :)

adrian's a life-saver. he was in smu today and he helped me ask the office of admissions about my application, which pretty much made my day. work was fine today.. i got my name card! so cool! i mean.. a lot of my friends are working too but hey! i don't think they've got name cards.. so yea!
i did OT until 9+ today but it was alright. i think nicholas, lawrence, jocelyn and i are probably gonna get along pretty fine. suddenly work seems all good. one last thing that made me laugh my head off - huiling got fined! hahahahaha!

vice capt dinner today at spizza. thank you russell. you're da man! well.. you're the only man of the 6 of us.. :D (peig's half-man so it's not counted) it's good seein them! i walked back to 6th ave from holland village with lynette.. we talked quite a bit and i guess.. my life for the next 3-4 year's pretty much mapped out and i hope i'll be able to sustain how i'm feeling right now for a while.

hence, i was a little late for work. the server was down so we didn't have the internet the entire day, which was why i had to RUN from one end of the office to the other (usually we'd use yahoo messenger to pass msges) and i'm getting pretty good at running on heels 2 inches high now.
salsa's getting more confusing but it's fun nevertheless. i realised len's an old RI boy and we had this pretty funny conversation about schools. donna + christina REALLY employed the other fella they thought i would consider interesting. hahahaha. oh myyy... and i got a surprise message early in the morning.

i met alot of other people today. hasan and vida to get stuff (coz hasan slept ytd and forgot to meet me?? haha) and later on, jess and lyn for the Cleo's 50 Most Eligible Bachelors Finals. i still don't think her friend's that good looking.. but gawwwdd.. when he was only wearing jeans... oh mama. he won the subsidiary prize for the Best Body, something along that line, category. just imagine! im drooling, droooooooolinnnggggg mann... oh yea, saw rina and this other girl who was at the shoot last year so that was quite nice too.
AH! BEST PIECE OF NEWS! Kris emailed me! omg he emailed me!!! i'm in heaven! of course it's just general stuff like, oh yea he remembers me from bintan but AHH!!!! :D
